CLOSED UNTIL MARCH 2021
Although we have been dealing with the coronavirus pandemic for almost a year now, we have yet to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. Fresh lockdown rules are springing up around the world to prevent second, third, or even fourth waves and this has affected the services we are able to offer. One of such rules is the restriction of large events, this is why some of our services are no longer available. It is with a heavy heart that we have come to inform you, our customers, that we will no longer provide hiring of bouncy castles until March 2021.
There are several factors that have led us to make this decision but the leading factors would be the closing of venues. These are venues we provide bouncy castles to regularly however they will be closing in compliance with lockdown rules. This unfortunately means that we will no longer be able to operate. This is very unfortunate but it is a sacrifice we must all make to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.
Reasons why Indoor Venue Hire is currently not allowed....
1. Indoor venues are not allowed to function because of the 2 Metre social distancing restrictions. Unfortunately, some indoor venues were not following these guidelines which means the rest of us have to pay for it.
2. With the end of summer only a few months past and the Christmas holidays a few weeks away, the government plans to reduce physical contact as some people have contracted the virus while on their summer holidays. These people are most likely asymptomatic which means they show no outward symptoms. This is dangerous because they can pass the virus to people who already have compromised or weak immune systems.
3. Indoor venues like gyms and other physical activity-related services have been closed because of the fear that perspiration from people in the vicinity may increase the spread of the virus.
All these have led to the government authorized restrictions which means there would be no indoor hiring of bouncy castles. However for those wondering about outdoor hiring, that too, is, unfortunately, not available. We usually do not provide outdoor hiring services for bouncy castles during this time of year for several reasons.
1. Weather - The weather is the main reason we don't offer bouncy castles in the winter. The weather makes it hard to use a bouncy castle outdoors during the winter. The weather is cold, damp and on some occasions, it may even snow. This makes using a Bouncy Castle outdoor very impractical. The floors would be slippery and this could make it very hard to bounce properly and safely. It would also be uncomfortable and hard to enjoy a bouncy castle when you're wearing several sweaters and a coat to combat the cold weather.
2. Effectiveness - The cold weather of the winter season also harms the bouncy castle itself. While the cold weather may make it less enjoyable to jump around a bouncy castle, the dampness of the weather will also make it hard to properly clean and dry the bouncy castle. We take the sanitizing of all our bouncy castles very seriously and the cold weather makes this hard to do. Due to the damp weather, we will not be able to dry the bouncy castle under hours of sunlight which will aid in proper cleaning. Instead, we will have to air dry it or use artificial dryers which is tough due to the size and weight of the bouncy castle.
In conclusion this is why we do not offer the hiring of bouncy castles for the outdoors during this time period. It is simply not the best option for you, our esteemed customers, or our valuable employees. The weather can be tough, raging wars on our senses and our emotions which is why it is so unfortunate that we cannot provide the simple, joyous relief of bouncy castles this year. This year has been especially tough on all of us however we must and shall pull through this together. We may not be able to offer bouncy castles for the family reunions and birthday parties this Christmas but we'll be back very soon.
Christmas is definitely the season of giving and having fun with loved ones. For some of us, this will be the first time in the year that we will be able to see our families...It's important to spend time with loved ones this year as it has been a tough and trying year. Together we shall get through this.
Our bouncy castles will, once again, be available for hire in March 2021. Hopefully, by then we would be over the worst of the Coronavirus pandemic. Our Bouncy Castles will be available for outdoor events in March 2021 and depending on the lockdown rules, they will also be available for indoor events. We have chosen this date because the weather will be milder and warmer which means it'll be much more enjoyable for our clients and it will also be easier to clean the castles properly.
